Our Biotherm products are covering powders based on rice husk ash. It is a highly insulating powder that is utilized for reducing oxidation, heat loss and hydrogen build-up by being applied to the molten surface in the tundish .
This compound is formulated as a mixture of salts that is added at the base of molten metal in tundish and helps in reducing the cost of re-melting of alloys with improved properties and can be availed in acidic and basic formulations required according to the purpose of use. Biotherm has a very low carbon content, creating the ideal basis for producing low-carbon steel.

Whitespice Chemicals are manufacturers of Micro Silica – a mineral admixture which has very fine silicon dioxide.
Micro Silica is produced after processing special grade Rice husk ash. This is shorted, pulverized, air classified and packed in specified packing for ease of handling the material at site. Standard specifications for silica fume used in cementitious mixtures are ASTM C1240,EN 13263.
On adding Micro Silica to the cementatious mix, the resultant concrete has more of strong calcium-silicate hydrates and less of the weak and easily soluble calcium hydroxides than the normal concrete mix. As Micro Silica particles are small they disperse among and separate the cement particles and this results in fine, uniform mix that has higher compressive, flexural, and bond strength. Silica fume also reduces the permeability of concrete to chloride ions, which protects the reinforcing steel of concrete from corrosion, especially in chloride-rich environments such as coastal regions and those of humid continental roadways, runways and saltwater bridges.

RICE HUSK ASH GRANULES

RHAG (Calcined rice husk ash granules)

Fine grinded RHA of selected composition is spray dried to 120-180 micron. These are specially designed nodular products for rainforcement of refractory mass applied in tundish, ladle, medium temperature furnaces etc.

Fine grinded rice husk ash granules of selected composition is spray dried to 120-180 micron. This is an effective tundish cover for insulation on slag free molten steel in continuous casting. It is an effective medium to retain that minimum superheat necessary for a smooth casting operation by preventing radiant heat loss from the surface of the molten steel. Using RHA in its granular form prevents air pollution, reduces wastage, insulation and excellent spreadability.

Packaging

1. Packing is done in small packets of 5kg, 10 kg, 25 kgs,50 kgs in LDPE or HDPE. Customer can decide on the same.

2. Our packaging for exports are done in Carton or Bulk bags. Capacity of the bag varies from 500 kgs to 1000 kgs.

3. All cartons and bags are palletized in wooden pallets, duly fumigated by internationally authorized fumigation agency. Each container is inspected before loading and we only take clean and export worthy containers.

4. After the goods are packed in the bags we palletize the cartons or the bulk bags. Fumigation of the containers are done mandatorily at our plant by recognized agency and there is provision for another round of fumigation before loading it onboard.
